Our library is a doorway to an exciting world of fun, facts and information. Students can pursue personal and class interests, read, research and view electronic displays of the work of their peers. The library is visited weekly by every student in the school. It provides students and teachers with teaching and learning resources from a large range of media types. The library offers a pleasing environment that is conducive to learning. The library is open Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30pm until the end of lunch for play. Students may use the library for recreational reading, research, educational board games, returns and borrowing during this time. Student library monitors help Mrs Rhodes in organisational and borrowing procedures. Classes are timetabled to visit the library each week so students have the opportunity to borrow and develop a love of reading. Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 students must have a book bag to protect books from possible damage. Books are to be returned by the due date (2 weeks).
