School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Musical - Cinderella and Rockerfella
Date: 16th and 17th of September

Redhead Public School are excited to be doing a whole school musical in week 9, term 3. Cinderella and Rockerfella is a fun, modern twist on the classic fairytale Cinderalla, reimagined with a pop-star sparkle and generous helping of humour.
DUGS day

Come and celebrate Father's Day with sports, games, snacks and more!
Sausage sandwiches, donuts and drinks are available to order from our canteen. Order through the Spriggy app from 25th of August.
P&C meeting
Date: Monday Week 4 and 8
Time: 6:00pm
Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held weeks 4 and 8 of every term in the school office. Parents and carers are welcome to attend.
Stage 1 Hunter Valley Zoo Excursion
Date: 26 August 2025
Stage 1 are looking forward to a fun day out at the Hunter Valley Zoo.
Early Stage 1 Oakvale Farm Excursion
Date: 11 September 2025
Early Stage 1 will have a wonderful day feeding the animals and exploring Oakvale Wildlife Park.
Stage 2 Charlestown Cup
Date: 25 September 2025
stage 2 will have a fun day playing a variety of games against the other schools within our community of schools.
Stage 3 Canberra Excursion
Date: 15-17 October 2025
Stage 3 students will have 3 days fun filled with adventure and learning while in Canberra.
Presentation Day
Date: 12 December 2025

A celebration of a wonderful year of learning, students hard work and dedication will be recognised and celebrated.
Year 6 Farewell
Date: 16 December 2025

Year 6 students have a chance to celebrate the end of primary school with a dinner and dance.
