Welcome back for another amazing year at Redhead Public School! I'm looking forward to sharing my passion for reading and all things literacy with all of our students.
I am pleased to be introducing Literacy Pro for years 1-6 to assist students in selecting books appropriate for their reading levels and for them to make connections with what they are reading in class, in the library and at home. More information will be provided later in the term.
I will be teaching history and geography across the school this term. The topics are as follows:
Early Stage 1 - Our School Grounds
Stage 1 - Australian Places
Stage 2 - Community and Remembrance
Cross-Stage 2/3 - Changing Communities
Cross-Stage 4/5 - Movers and Shakers - Significant People (taught by Miss Vaughan)
Stage 3 - European Settlement
